2011年、3月11日15時前、家で曲を作っていたらいきなりの大揺れ。関東拠点の地震だと思っていた私は「久々にでかかったな」と思いつつ呑気に構えていたが、その後飛び込んでくる事態の大きさに唖然。
今作の収録にあたり、このエピソードに興味を持たれたDublabのハシムさんにより、（他に数曲候補があった中で）この曲が選ばれ収録される事になりました。もちろん興味も持たれたのは「時間のシンクロニシティ」に関してであり、地震についての曲でも震災に捧げる曲でもありませんが、自分の生涯にとっても大きな出来事になるであろう記録として「op.311」と付けてみました。
